Sharing God’s love in the Northern Indiana area for more than 130 years
In the very earliest days of Christianity a tradition arose to celebrate the Easter season by means of a “Holy Hilarity” Sunday. The custom is rooted in early church theologians who reasoned that God had played a tremendous practical joke on the devil by raising Jesus from the dead. They called it risus paschalis – the Easter laugh! St. Paul’s will continue this custom on April 8, the first Sunday after Easter.
If you have a funny story, joke, talent, skit, etc. (church appropriate) that you would like to share then call the church office @ 825-2280 to let us know. This is a light-hearted continuation of our Easter celebrations. So join us! Easter is worth celebrating with all the joy that is within us. We look forward to seeing you there!
