Theology on Tap … with a Twist

March 2, 2017 at 6:30 pm8:30 pm

Theology on Tap meets at 41° North, 104 Main Street, Middlebury on the first and third Thursday of each month and explores theology and how faith affects our daily lives over a beverage with great fellowship (you can even order a meal if you would like.)

During Lent we are doing something different:  Have you ever wanted to ask a question, yet you weren’t sure how, … light or heavy questions that might bring some anxiety if you were to ask them out loud for fear of being judged? Here’s your chance to ask them and be totally anonymous. Theology on Tap will meet during Lent on the First and Third Thursdays of the month yet with a slightly different format. Write those questions you have always wanted to ask on a piece of paper and put then in the container next to the sign up sheet that’s on the tall table in the lobby/narthex. The Pastor will try to answer these questions on the spot. You can make them light or as deep as you wish. Some ideas: “Why do we use ashes on Ash Wednesday?”, “Where do the ashes come from?”, “Why do we give things up for Lent?”  or anything else you want to know … Warning: Pastor is good but not all knowing  🙂

All are welcome to join us as we share food, fellowship and faith and explore as the first Christians did hundreds of years ago.
